7 Great Reasons To Detox This Fall
Fall is the time of harvesting nature’s bounty and preparing for dormancy of the winter months. As our environment experiences its autumnal transformation, we feel the changes in our bodies too. Fall is the perfect time to detox and prepare yourself for the holiday season of “big eating” ahead.
1. Nature Calls – Fall signals the end of the growth phase for all things green and leafy. For most, it means a shift from carefree, fun in the sun days, to more sedentary focus and concentration at school or work. As we settle into cooler weather, our eating habits change.
We may still grill and grub on burgers and dogs in some parts of the land, but a hearty bowl of soup or layered casserole is more likely to show up on the menu.
